Two ways to extract — pattern-based reads the PDF's raw text for numbering/options (free, works well on plainly typed papers); AI-based actually reads the page layout (handles graphically-designed worksheets better, but calls Claude and costs a small amount per PDF). Always review and correct the results below before adding anything to the bank.
