Holding a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology and an MBA in Education Management from Alagappa University, Mr. Athiq combines technical depth with strategic academic leadership. He brings over 14 years of teaching experience, complemented by a robust 12-year career in the IT industry, having worked with industry giants like Accenture, Dell Services, and NTT Data in roles ranging from Software Engineer to Software Development Advisor to Technical Lead & SME in Microfocus Development.
Certification in Strategic Management from IIMB.
He is also a certified Science & Maths trainer from Pearson Edexcel, UK, and serves as an Examination Officer. Orgainser TEDxMountcrest Academy.
Hajeera Shabreen, B.Sc, B.Ed
Principal
Hajeera Shabreen is an accomplished education leader with over 13 years of experience in shaping young minds. She currently serves as the Principal of Mountcrest Academy, where she champions academic excellence and holistic development.
She holds a B.Sc. from University of Mysore (AVK Women’s College, Hassan) and a B.Ed. from Bangalore University (R.V. Teachers College, Bengaluru). She is also a trained IGCSE Master Trainer, bringing global best practices into the classroom.
With a strong focus on nurturing future-ready learners, she is dedicated to fostering innovation, leadership, and meaningful learning experiences that empower students to evolve and thrive.
Syeda Sanobar Fathima, DCS, Early Childhood Educator

Syeda Sanobar Fathima is the Vice-Principal of Mountcrest Academy with over 14 years of experience in education. She is a key co-organiser of TEDx Mountcrest Academy and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Computer Science. An IGCSE-trained Master Trainer in Mathematics and English, she brings a strong blend of academic expertise and innovative teaching practices to the institution. She is the organiser of TED-Ed & Co-organsier of TEDxMountcrest Academy.
Known for her strong leadership and collaborative approach, she plays a vital role in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the school. Her passion for nurturing holistic development ensures that students are not only academically competent but also confident, creative, and future-ready.
Shaistha Arfa G, B.A
Coordinator
Shaistha Arfa G is the Lead Organiser of TEDx Mountcrest Academy and a Coordinator at Mountcrest Academy, bringing over six years of experience in education and event management. A young and dynamic professional, she is admired for her “never-give-up” attitude, exceptional organisational skills, and unwavering commitment to ensuring that every task is executed with precision and on time.
She also serves as the PR and Marketing Head for TEDx events, where she plays a pivotal role in speaker engagement, public relations, and the seamless execution of events. An alumna of Mount Carmel College, she holds a degree in Humanities and is a Pearson Edexcel (UK) iGCSE-trained educator.
Known for her strong voice, commanding presence, and charismatic smile, Shaistha effectively leads and coordinates various school activities, from daily assemblies to major events. Her energy, enthusiasm, and ability to inspire those around her make her a motivating force within the school community. Noor Zaiba serves as the Advertisement and Marketing Head at TEDx, bringing valuable experience in both marketing and early childhood education. She is a Montessori-trained and International General (IG) trained educator with a passion for creativity, communication, and community engagement.
An active and enthusiastic team member, Noor Zaiba is known for her innovative approach, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively promote events and initiatives.
